Well it is Valentines Day and Charleston is one of the top destinations to get married, so I figured I would share some romantic places in and around Charleston,SC.
Before I send you to the Post & Couriers top list, I thought I could share a few of my favorites.
One of the best spots besides a walk on the beach (Sullivan’s, Isle of Palms, Folly) is going to the old bridge on Pitt St in the Old Village, as it overlooks Charleston Harbor, the ocean and Sullivan’s Island, it is where I proposed to my wife 🙂
One of my other favorite spots is a nighttime stroll down Church St in downtown Charleston, some of the little alleys and streets that intersect Church are magical.
Best place for a romantic dinner in Charleston would probably be the Peninsula Grill. Dont forget to try the coconut cake.
